Stillspotting NYC was a two-year multidisciplinary project organized by the Guggenheim. The Spatial Information Design Lab at the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation at Columbia University developed a mapping study on silence and noise in New York City. From 311 data and internet sources, our team developed a visual representation of frustrating moments in the city, a landscape of complaints.
